Just got a new Macro lens and tried it out this weekend in the Poconos, PA. Check out the golden mandibles on the beetle. This one is for you Robin!

Leaving tomorrow

Tomorrow I start my summer-long adventure of catching vultures in Maasai Mara.  I’ll be leaving on an evening flight and arriving on Wednesday night in Nairobi after a short layover in London (ack!) .  Stay tuned to my blog to see pictures and learn all you ever wanted to know about East African vultures!
